Scottsdale, AZ (August 17, 2015) – Symmetry Software, specialists in payroll withholding software for large employers and payroll service providers, is celebrating the contributions millions of American workers and payroll professionals during National Payroll Week. National Payroll Week runs annually the week of Labor Day, this year September 7-12. The event brings awareness to the millions of wage earners in the U.S. about financial planning, personal finance, and understanding your paycheck. As Americans gather this Labor Day to pay tribute to the contribution workers make to the well-being of this country, Symmetry Software is offering advice to help workers make the most of their paychecks.

In 2014, American workers contribute through the payroll withholding system about $2.15 trillion, or 70% of the annual revenue of the United States Treasury. “Every day, payroll professionals ensure that those trillions of dollars are filtered through the payroll withholding system accurately,” says Sam Kerch, Director of Finance at Symmetry Software.

However, there are certain steps individuals can take to tailor their paycheck to unique needs. Symmetry Software urges people to regularly monitor their paychecks, and adjust them when life changes occur. There are free tools, for example the calculators at that allow users to accurate model their paychecks with adjusted withholding rates or dependents, among other variables.
