National Payroll Week (NPW), September 6 – 10, is just around the corner, and the American Payroll Association (APA) wants your help celebrating! There are plenty of ways to get involved with NPW this year.
The first way to get involved is by taking the annual “Getting Paid In America” survey. One lucky person who takes the survey will receive a bonus paycheck and their dream vacation. Results from the survey help the APA understand employees’ concerns and preferences about payroll and the latest issues, such as how COVID-19 is impacting the way employees are receiving their wages.
You can also get involved by signing up to become a Money Matters National Education Day (MMNED) volunteer. MMNED volunteers promote financial literacy by teaching paycheck basics to young adults in their communities. All volunteers receive an easy to follow MMNED curriculum and resources to secure a place to teach,
