For every 50,000 visits to PaycheckCity, Symmetry Software will donate a Texas Instruments TI-84 scientific calculator to a school serving low-income students in America. Symmetry works with Teach For America to identify schools who will receive the calculators.
Why calculators? American students lag far behind their international peers in science, technology, engineering, and math. Symmetry is helping to address this urgent need through Calculators For Kids. By providing access to technology, students are enabled to pursue higher level mathematics ultimately resulting in an increased pathway to college.
The more you visit the site, the more calculators get to kids who need them. Our hope is that as PaycheckCity continues to grow, we will be able to increase the impact that Calculators For Kids is having on students across the country by providing more and more calculators to kids who need them.
